I am in love with the one Who Is Love

I never have any difficulty believing in miracles, since I experienced the miracle of a change in my own heart.

If we do not fill our mind with prayer, it will fill itself with anxieties, worries, temptations, resentments, and unwelcome memories.

Matt Hammit- Let Go

“YOU know what I dont, so help me to let go”

the graces that comes from borkenness

Just came back from a good trip with beautiful friends. And the minute I step off the plane, something of the past hit me and its present has definitely made my heart sink of what felt like the depths of a lonely lake. All the happiness of just coming from a great adventure, meeting people, starting fresh felt like such a distant memory from what currently clouded my thoughts. The weather was so gloomy, my best friend left on a trip, and the ones I had on the island were entertaining that past of mines that I can’t be a part of.

But of course by God’s grace, I know why he put me in that situation. To remind me of the awesome life I have now, and to put him back in the center of it.  To remind me that HE was the one who blessed me with these happiness I just had and have had. If it wasn’t for that bad past, I wouldn’t be living the happiness I have now. Because recently, I have been feeling “lucky”, which is far from what I am living now. Luck is something that is not suppose to happen, but blessings is something thats MEANT to happen. Just for you given by HIM.

So yes I was put in a bad state of mind, but God quickly drew me back to the reality of HIS love. Thank you Lord, I needed that reminder sooo bad.

Baptism of Jesus

“In submitting Himself humbly to the baptism of St. John the Baptist, however, Christ provided the example for the rest of us. If even He should be baptized, though He had no need of it, how much more should the rest of us be thankful for this sacrament, which frees us from the darkness of sin and incorporates us into the Church, the life of Christ on earth! His Baptism, therefore, was necessary—not for Him, but for us.”

The Holy Family Prayer

JESUS, Son of God and Son of Mary, bless our family. Graciously inspire in us the unity, peace, and mutual love that you found in your own family in the little town of Nazareth.

MARY, Mother of Jesus and our Mother, nourish our family with your faith and your love. Keep us close to your Son, Jesus, in all our sorrows and joys.

JOSEPH, Foster-father to Jesus, guardian and spouse of Mary, keep our family safe from harm. Help us in all times of discouragement or anxiety.

HOLY FAMILY OF NAZARETH, make our family one with you. Help us to be instruments of peace. Grant that love, strengthened by grace, may prove mightier than all the weaknesses and trials through which our families sometimes pass. May we always have God at the center of our hearts and homes until we are all one family, happy and at peace in our true home with you. Amen.
